ALL COMPETITORS must be members of the NDML
ALL DOGS must be leashed
ALL MATCHES are continuing re-entry. Shoot whatever you like, whenever you like after you purchase the initial aggregate set of targets. This means you can re-shoot any match you like if you think you can do better.
ALL RELAYS are 20 minutes long with a 10 minute break between relays. All shots on a single target must be fired in the same relay.
ALL SPECTATORS must remain behind the loading line.
ALL SPOTTING SCOPES must remain behind the loading line.
RANGE HOURS Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 9am-4pm, Monday 9am-Noon. All targets must be turned in immediately after the last relay on Monday for awards.
PRIMITIVE SHOOTS will be held as interest dictates.
CAMPING will be in the area west of the fort. Cut wood and water will be available. All trash must be packed out of the area. Hooters will be on site for the weekend. There is a $5 per camp fee for the weekend which will go to off-set the costs of structuring this event.
POTLUCK CAMP FEED will be on Saturday night. Participation in the potluck requires only that you bring a dish to share.
AWARDS will be given out for the matches after the final relay on Monday.
ENTRY FEES - $5 for each aggregate. Each re-entry target is $1 and may be purchased any time after the initial aggregate is purchased.
BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE MATCH - Any traditional firearm used up to the 1880's. Any metallic sights allowed. No optical, tube sights allowed. No bolt actions, Rugers, or modern style firearms allowed.
FIREARMS must be traditional design with outside ignition (except Classes VII - XI) and fire traditional projectiles using black powder or pyrodex as a propellant. NO sabot bullets. NO telescopic sights. Open sights ONLY. NO BB guns or pellet guns allowed. Spotting scopes allowed.
